Is there a valid reason for those version numbers to not match? I find it improbable that an OS update significant enough to get this level of version increment wouldn't include changes to Darwin. Is Apple just being sloppy and/or lazy with versioning? Or does keeping Darwin at the same version number serve some actual purpose?
