Re: Fink for Monterrey?

So we have been building on different OS etc. with the 10.9-libcxx tree for awhile.  So if I interpret you state then that tree should build for Apple Silicon in the future if I can get the bootstrap to work.  I forget exactly why the bootstrap fails.

Personally I had few problems with the “fat binaries” for the PPC/Intel transition and few issues with the “universal binaries” for the Intel/AS transition.  I think the 68XXX/PPC transition was a bit more abrupt and fink wasn’t around then.  IIRC, for the PPC/Intel transition you had to build two binaries and then put them together with lipo.  I think Xcode/tools will build them together now?
