can't install package class-c3-pm5184-0.35-1 Re: SSL certificate problem revisited

Thanks a bunch, that was tedious but worked.   Now I have curl working but the update-all fails.
(Note: I had to gzip a few of them again, as Safari decompressed them, and then tell fink to use the existing file as the checksum changed.)
Is there some lock file somewhere I need to remove?
