Upgrading to Ventura

Hello all,

I haven’t been updating my fink installation since several MacOS updates. I gave it a try now on Ventura. For this I followed Scott’s installation notes from 11/10/2022:
mkdir ~/src
cd ~/src
git clone https://github.com/TheSin-/fink
cd fink
git checkout dpkg1.16
./bootstrap

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to run right out of the box. I get the following error on the bootstrap command:
Checking package... looks good (fink-0.45.99.git).
Checking system... x86_64-apple-darwin22.6.0
13.6 does not match the expected value of 13.5. Please run `fink selfupdate` to download a newer version of fink at /Users/bloch/fink/src/fink/perlmod/Fink/Services.pm line 1449.

As suggested I then ran a fink selfupdate. This gave me the following error message:
arch: /usr/bin/perl5.18 isn't executable

That is where I am currently stuck. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jacques
