So something is not quite right.  I have “search closest source mirrors first” set.

Which is fine but it doesn’t allow then asking fink to use the master set.  When I use that option I get the following

This should have the master mirrors in the combined list but it tries 4 or 5 times and gives up, always trying the ftp.debian sources.
