Jacques, (and others), Yes I made a patch file to modify the the plist to set the correct parameters for building launch. However, I can’t find that modification now. However it breaks building for earlier systems which is obviously not good for the 10.9-libcxx tree which seems to be a bad thing. The built executable is a fat binary that has both x86 and arm64 architectures. I am not sure how the fink team wants to handle this? Should the dot-info file have an OS Versioning? -Scott > On Oct 5, 2023, at 03:41, Jacques Bloch <[email protected]> wrote: > > When trying to install gnuplot the built crash with the following error: > > ld: file not found: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/lib/arc/libarclite_macosx.a > clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) > > This happens when fink builds launch-1.2.5-1 as an intermediate step to the installation of gnuplot. > > Best, > Jacques > > _______________________________________________ > Fink-users mailing list > [email protected] > List archive: > https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ > Subscription management: > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] List archive: https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
