No need for manual installation - fink indeed asks to choose between the alternatives w3m, lynx or elinks. Previously I had chosen w3m because that was the default answer, not knowing that this depends on launch. I now selected lynx and all goes well until the compilation of libzmq6-shlibs, which shows a lot of errors. I will report this in a separate email
