Changing the perl used by fink

Hello,

I just recently switched to a new computer, and when restoring things from
the old computer's backup it brought along all my fink stuff. Alas, the new
machine is a different architecture (M2/arm64) than the old one, and a
different os version (14.6); so I need to recompile/reinstall everything
anyways.

My question is: is there a way to tell the backup-restored version of fink
where the new perl is, so I can rebuild things directly, or should I just
wipe everything away and start over?
