On line 603 in the file lib/type1/regions.c a declaration for two 
function parameters is missing that causes a compiler error.

After changing that line as
        int type, x2, y2;           /* CD_FIRST, CD_CONTINUE, or 
CD_LAST            */
'make' completes without error.
