My new machine is outside the officially supported range of MacOS versions, so it could be due to that; but I wanted to check here first to see if there are any known issues regarding libiconv? > > macOS: 14.7 > darwin: 23.6.0 > arch: arm64 > gcc: Apple clang version 16.0.0 (clang-1600.0.26.3) > Xcode.app: 16.0.0.0.1.1726343358 > Xcode command-line tools: 16.0.0.0.1.1724870825 > > Package manager version: 0.45.99.git > Distribution version: selfupdate-point (bootstrap), 14.0, arm64 > Trees: local/main stable/main > Max. Fink build jobs: 24 The libiconv from gettext-0.20.2 that is still used in the released Fink turned out to be hard or probably impossible to build with Xcode 16, so in the update for Sequoia I have updated that to 0.22.5, which also build on recent Sonoma versions (just tested the bootstrap with 14.7 and clang-1600.0.26.3) – also added a patch required since the 14.7 update. You can give that a try from https://github.com/fink/fink/pull/267 HTH Derek _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] List archive: https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
