gcc12.2 is not going to build with Xcode 15 or later. I’ve pushed updates for the latest gcc12-gcc14 releases to
https://github.com/fink/fink-distributions/pull/1080 , but they are still not tested for all Fink distributions, or failing
on some macOS versions (see comments therein); moreover for Xcode 16 there are no working patches for
gcc 12.4 (and may never be).
gcc 13.3 and 14.2 should work on Sequoia with Xcode 16.2 (arm64); those patches were directly copied from
Homebrew and generally will be available there first, since the principal developer working on the macOS ports
to gcc is directly providing updates to the brew packages (there is a revised patch for 14.2 available which I have
not tested yet, but the old one in the PR still seems to work).
