Fink 0.45.99.git on macOS 15.4 Sequoia

Hello fink Project folks!

Well I’ve been away from the fink Project for about a decade or so, but I see you all have been very busy!

I recently picked up a refurbished Mac mini (2024) with an M4 Pro chip and I was wondering what fun stuff I might do with it. Naturally, the fink Project came to mind!

I followed the instructions at the project page and was able to build, install, self-update, and update-all the current fink without any errors! I have a vanilla installation, meaning everything is on the internal boot volume and in the default locations.

Great work!

I’d like to continue supporting the project by testing any packages any of you might need to be tested (building/installing) on this platform. Please let me know if you have suggestions for packages that you’d like tested! Also, if anyone is curious about which packages are missing from the main mirrors, I might be able to help with that as well.

I’ve included after my signature the packages installed by update-all in case you’re interested. (The whole process took less than an hour, I believe!) Here’s my environment info:
