I stopped and tested this.  “fink configure” does not update the distribution field in in the /opt/sw/etc/fink.conf file.
So you will have to edit the file manually and set the distribution.
You should also symbolically link /opt/sw2/fink/ so that the correct links are there.

I notice that you have multiple versions installed and hence using /opt/sw2 rather than /opt/sw.  You might want to figure out which version is correct for your system.

the following should update your fink installation:
mkdir -p ~/src
 cd src
 git clone https://github.com/fink/fink fink-upstream
 cd fink-upstream
 git pull
 (optional?) sudo cp perlmod/Fink/Services.pm /opt/sw/lib/perl5/Fink/Services.pm
 ./inject.pl
