Re: fink update-all does not work

Use Fink to get the list of installed perl 5.30.3 packages and it is not so long.  I think I pared the list down below.  You can ignore all the files in fink.old obviously.

fink list -i pm5303 | grep -v virtual

Should list the non-virtual packages for that version of perl.  You should also remove perl5303 and perl5303-core.  Basically you want to switch over everything to perl 5.34.1.

So for each of those 24 packages below, install the 5341 version, then remove the 5303 version since that should be a substitute.  Then remove perl5303 and perl5303-core which should now have no dependencies.

This is why a clean reinstall of fink and then new install of your top level packages is a good way to update after a macOS update since it can change the versions of perl and/or python required.
