Talk to Jack Fink (he's on #fink), he worked on anjuta a few weeks ago.

Looks pretty close. Few comments:

Only one critical mistake: you scrapped gail18 (good, it's obsolete)
but it's only obsolete *as of gtk+2 2.14*. So you need to bump the
versioning of all the gtk+2* dependencies.

Upstream bug: they pass $includedir as the first -I flag, so #include
while compiling a new version when an old version is already installed
may find the "wrong" header.

To help users who use apt, you'll want to upgrade the versioning of
the cairo and pixman deps (1.8-1 and 0.12.0-1, respectively), and also
libglade2 to 2.6.3-1).

The new gnome world "unhides" freetype and pango, so if you have
pango1-xft2-ft219 >= 1.22.0-4 (which you do) and freetype219 >=
2.3.7-7 (which you don't) you can remove the special PKG_CONFIG_PATH
entries for them, and also the FREETYPE_CONFIG variable.
