failing to install gtk+2-2.12.11-2

Hello,

I'm still in the process of installing gimp. I got stuck at this spot:

Instellen van fink-buildlock-gtk+2-2.12.11-2 (2008.11.01-08.27.46) ...
a lot in between and then it says
Failed: phase compiling: gtk+2-2.12.11-2 failed

I tried selfupdate and update-all
I tried dselect but couldn't find the package there
I tried using findcommander, but that gets stuck where it wants me to  
say yes

So I can't get any further, I've been reading and reading, I learn but  
it doesn't help to solve my problem. That is why I come here again,  
asking for good ideas.
