Could this represent a missing dependency (somewhere in the dependency 
tree) on libegroupwise-dev (and could it be related to the other user's 
problem with evolution-data-server)?

On 10.5.8 PPC:

After installing libegroupwise-1.2.13-dev, (evolution and) 
bundle-gnome-office continued to build and install without error.
