Hi,
I'd like to report 2 bugs in Evolution, but I must say I was unable to
look up if they are duplicate because using the form
http://www.finkproject.org/bugs/ and search for evolution
http://bugs.finkproject.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=evolution
The requested URL /cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi was not found on this server.
1. when I click a link in an email, I just get a popup saying:
could not open link, operation not supported.
googling for it it seemed gvfs or glib related. I check for updates on
both packages without a cure. I even installed the whole gnome2-bundle
because I thought it was some missing gnome component.
I also tried setting the preffered app to MACOSX open in the gnome
preferred applications and even symlink "gnome-open" to "macosx open" no
luck.
2. Evolution does not want to keep passwords in the keyring
(evolution.bin:42714): e-data-server-ui-WARNING **: Unable to find
password(s) in keyring (Keyring reports: Access Denied)
I could not find any information on this, I thought keyring was not
installed, but when trying to run gnome-keyringdaemon, I get
kaos$ gnome-keyring-daemon
** Message: another gnome-keyring-daemon is running
** Message: couldn't set environment variable in session: The name
org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files
GNOME_KEYRING_SOCKET=/var/folders/Nm/Nm5xCtmaEzqn6o+Vo0PGkU
+++TI/-Tmp-/keyring-wHAbWZ/socket
SSH_AUTH_SOCK=/var/folders/Nm/Nm5xCtmaEzqn6o+Vo0PGkU
+++TI/-Tmp-/keyring-wHAbWZ/socket.ssh
GNOME_KEYRING_PID=42840
So I try to start a gnome session. but then gnome just takes over the
whole desktop, and I can't click anywhere, it seems to always take the
top layer on the screen. (side note, can I run a rootless
gnome-session?)
