Hello, Debora. It looks like your problem is FinkCommander and not  
Fink itself -- they're in fact two separate projects and [email protected] 
  would be the appropriate list to report issues with FinkCommander.  
 From Fink's perspective, you should be able to use Terminal.app to  
rebuild glade2 instead. After having opened Terminal.app, type

fink rebuild libglade2-shlibs

That said, you're running and old version of Fink's package manager  
(the current version is 0.29.10) and you're seeing very old packages  
because you're using the 0.8.1 point distribution which was released  
more than one year ago. As you've said you're trying to rebuild glade2  
I assume you have Xcode installed and building packages from source is  
not an issue for you. May I suggest you use a different selfupdate  
method such as rsync? The following post has more information on
