The symbol XGetDeviceProperty appeared in libXi in one of the earlier 
xquartz versions. It is present in xquartz-2.3.3.2 and later (also in 
Snow Leopard's X11), but not in the original Leopard X11. The X11 
authors didn't bother to reflect this in the compatibility_version, nor 
even in the current_version, all of them being 7.0.0.
