Hi, I tried to build empathy today and it failed because of missing headers (libxml/parser.h and libxml/tree.h). A quick look at <fink-prefix>/include showed no libxml directory, but the proper headers were found in <fink-prefix>/include/libxml2/libxml. A symlink libxml2/libxml -> libxml fixed the build problem nicely (yes, I know this is not a proper fix...). I don't know why I installed the thing other than because I have it Linux-side (and it does not have any backend included under Fink so I cannot use it (yet) ayway--suggestions of what I can do with it are appreciated by the way), but I thought you may be interested in knowing about the problem. All of this happens under 0.29.13 on a Macbook Pro with Mac OS 10.5.8 and Xcode 3.1.3. Cheers, Stefan -- If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't.
