4.3 - The .xinitrc file
Examples

1 - Just in order to be consistent and not confuse needlessly the user
with what is written in uguide.en.xml, could it possible to distinguish
or make a note for sourcing:

bash or equivalent:
. /sw/bin/init.sh

tcsh:
source /sw/bin/init.sh

2 - Give more examples of start up files, I think, for example, about
gnome2 and kde 3.2, which are slightly different from what is indicated
and need certainly improvement too:

For gnome2, I had this (take in account I use Apple's X11 and zsh, but
it can be useful too to indicate something for Apple's X11 users).

. /sw/bin/init.sh
quartz-wm --only-proxy &
metacity &
exec gnome-session

For kde 3.2, I have this (there is no example for kde, may be useful
too):

. /sw/bin/init.sh
export KDEWM=kwin
quartz-wm --only-proxy &
/sw/bin/startkde >/tmp/kde.log 2>&1
