Not sure, but it has an install mode that basically doesn't install much with python 3.4.  I think it installs an alias on those systems for consistency?
"On Python 3.3 or newer, monotonic will be an alias of time.monotonic from the standard library. On older versions, it will fall back to an equivalent implementation:
Linux, BSD, AIX	clock_gettime(3)
Windows	GetTickCount or GetTickCount64
OS X	mach_absolute_time"

So I guess there is a purpose...  I am only creating this since the duplicity package now depends on it.

monotonic python module (in libs/pythonmods)  Silly replacement for python27 that is incorporated in python34.  Builds with fink -m
