Thanks for updating; same as I had found in testing the `emacs23` package, and the `README` in fact gives `emacs-24.3` as minimum version.

Elisp package providing syntax highlighting and an integrated development environment in particular for R to emacsen. Built and tested with emacs24 on 10.9 and 10.10. I am not very practised with building elisp modules, so any testing and comments are much appreciated.
