According to the insturuction, PCRE1 is required.   See footnote (48);
https://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/r-devel/R-admin.html#Installing-R-under-macOS

configure does not accept any option on PCRE.  When I run otool -L on dylibs, only libpcre.dylib is linked.

MacPorts R depends on both PCRE1 and PCRE2, though.

Now, I  have three options.

1. Create a patch to remove PCRE2 part in configure
2. BuildConflicts with libpcre2
3. Depends on libpcre2-shlibs (as well as libpcre1-shlibs) and corresponding BuildDepends.

What do you think?
