lahme Verbindung per Arcor DSL

Hallo,

bin zu Arcor gewechselt und habe Verbindung über einen Vigor 2200X  
mit meinem iMac ins Internet. Die Verbindung ist oft grausam langsam  
und bricht oft ab. Mit meinem iBook G3/900 habe ich diese Probleme  
nicht. Wo kann ich suchen?

Habe alle Kabel etc ausgetauscht, das Problem verschwindet nur  
temporär. Mit T-Com hatte ich dieses Problem nicht. Nach Empfehlung  
von c't habe ich mal ewas optimiert um die Übertragungspakete zu  
"vergrößern", weiss aber nimmer was, vielleicht ist das ja das Problem.
