I, for one, have NOT lost interest in this project.  As I had tried to
make clear from the beginning, what I could contribute initially would
have only trickled through at best.  I have a lot of interest in this
project, so even if you all left, I would still be here, creeping it
along inch by inch. :-)

I realize that I under-predicted, but with any luck, I'll be able to
focus on it more in the coming months.

BTW, I stopped idling in the IRC channel, because IMO it was becoming
pointless to do so at the current point in time.  Did anyone miss me?

We should leave it open-ended and let people work on it as time permits.

As I understand it, we have both bsdevents.org and bsdadvocacy.org.  I
propose that we distribute this project among those two domains as their
names entail: 1) have bsdevents.org host a database of advocacy events
and 2) have bsdadvocacy.org host a clearinghouse of advocacy resources.

It ~is~ possible to over-plan, which is what may have caused us to drift
apart.  So, rather than trying to do cheerleading, I say that we make
sure that every CORE member have accounts on the two machines and start
whipping something together.  At this point, ~anything~ is better than
nothing.

So would the sysadmins for each domain please step forward and identify
yourselves so we can request accounts?  In the interest of security, I
would suggest arranging to meet on IRC (rather than through e-mail) to
do it.
