I think I've got my story across. But I'm not sure what Joshua, Josef or Eric are currently up to. Most likely, work and life stuff too. > 3. What needs to happen? I'm going to push for volunteers to set up a simple database-backed blogish site using PHP/Smarty that we can use to share links and whatnot while we generate content. I'd do it myself but my hands are absolutely tied right now. Nevertheless, I haven't been very vocal about it yet because of the move, but I probably will soon. I think we should have a consistent look for both sites, what say? As discussed in a previous thread, I think we are all in agreement---for the most part---that the most important thing to do right now is to set up our operations so that anyone who wants to contribute can do so. I think that the plan is to set up an anonymous CVS repository and give commit bits to select parties, mimicking the freebsd.org model. I'm working with Joshua and Eric to set up the technicalities, but it's been somewhat slow-going with our current situations. > 4. When is it happening? Hopefully, more sooner than later! > 5. I could answer that ... for a fee, of course. ;-) > And what can I do to make it happen faster, more often, etc. etc. etc. You could try your hand at any of the above tasks. -- Anthony Chavez Daemon News mailto:acc-XvSzoi6dgTOSihdK6806/[email protected] http://www.daemonnews.org/
