umm, I had a spare 5 minutes or so and thought with all the FreeBSD vs.
Linux religious wars ^W^W comparisons I thought I throw my two cents in...

it is purely my opinion and seriously in need of some additions (because I
ran out of ideas), spelling and grammar check (I'm from the UK).

It was meant partly as a tongue in cheek comparison of the two, and
therefore the style of writing is more than likely too flippant!
Submissions for changes and additions / deletions will be accepted (and
maybe even incorporated).  When the document is closer to 'finished' then
I'll start thinking about different file formats.
