Now I just have three questions.  One, what software are you using?
Two, how is the link accomplished?  I don't see a bot (or anyone but
Joshua, myself and occasionally Linh for that matter) on freenode.
Three, where should we run this bot, in the long run?  My vote is on the
same machine that we run the Web site and mailing list, but I'm open to
suggestions.
