I have a friend working on the graphics as we speak...no idea when he will
be done though, he is doing the work out of the goodness of his heart in
between his "paying" graphics work...so I don't want to bother him much
about it.

I think we need to get a basic site structure completed for the website.
If we get a framework done, the graphics will come easier, and things will
fall into place faster i believe.

Charter == Good

An IRC meeting would be nice. Starting out, lets say this coming up
tuesday, around 9:00PM GMT?? Is everyone available at this time...i am
just trying to get the ball rolling, if you have a better suggestion or
can't make the meeting at this time, speak up. Make sure when specifying
a time, to put it in GMT "format", as this will elliviate confusion
somewhat.

I would like to discuss the following:

- We have had a recomendation on the "core" group ... is this official
now? If not, we need to vote, and each member needs to "accept" his
duties, not just be appointed the position.

- A Launch date for the website. The group is currently active, but I
suggested earlier that a launch date for the website might help us work
more efficiently if we have a "goal" to work towards. Should we have an
official launch, and if so, what date should the launch happen?

- Contests for the initial site launch. What does everyone think? I can
donate some goodies, and other groups could be contacted to see if they
can donate some goodies. If we have some contests where people enter
their name/email/whatever, and we do a drawing for prizes, I it will
generate ALOT of trafficii believe....people like free stuff ;)

- Should we officially contact all of the BSD Groups, and let them know
about the project? Yes, they know already probably, but should an
*official* message should be sent to each group?

> It's been a long week. :)

Yes it has. Everyone needs to be thinking about topics of discussion.
The last IRC meeting went very well, but there is much room for
improvement. The topics should be outlined in full detail BEFORE the
meeting, which will elliminate alot of confusion and redundancies during
the meeting. The most beneficial result this would bring would allow
everyone to think about the issues prior to the meeting, and not just
"winging it" during the meeting.
