Okay, folks. Enough surprises.

The important stuff needs to be discussed on the mailing list, ~not~ on
IRC. That way, 1) it gets logged, and 2) we can all have a say whether
we're around or not. I don't care if you guys have lengthy discussions
on IRC, but it would be really nice if someone would take the initiative
to at least post some minutes (or the log) if anything important is
discussed.

And in order to keep things from getting too hectic around here, we need
to make sure that everyone submits a vote before we do anything major or
make big decisions. Not that I'm complaining for getting my way, but
the core should all have gotten a vote as to which DB to use. I have no
idea if that happened or not, but for the record, I would have been
perfectly happy using Berkeley DB rather than PostgreSQL.

Yeah, voting has a tendency to slow things down. So what? We don't
have a final deadline on this project. So, we should take the time to
do this ~right~ instead of quickly. There's been talk of wanting to set
deadlines. Fine. Just make them realistic and take into account that
some of us work and will only be able to contribute once in a while.
