Why does that need to be explicit? The fact is, all other IP-based operations all the way down to sockaddr_in use network byte order, so it's *normal* to assume that other IP operations will be. The name should probably, instead, reflect that these are "true" raw packets, as contrasted to HDRINCL. Are there some non-*BSD's out there with prior art? SVR4? Anybody?
