Unfortunately 'chere' is a weird anomaly where there is no source
package - there's just the install package archive.

So my existing tools which import the source package history can't do
anything here.

(I don't know if there's a Makefile which builds it, or if it was
hand-assembled. Anyhow, this is all terrible and I'd just reject such
nonsense out of hand these days)

I'm not sure what the best way to proceed here is.

If the contents of the chere-1.4-1 package match the last commit in that
repository, I'm inclined to call it "good enough".
