This isn't something you can do, because the packaging repositories are configured to deny non-fastforward changes to the master branch (i.e. only changes to master which contain the previous master commit are permitted); this configuration is in place for obvious reasons. So the correct thing to do here is ask for help. I have: * created a new cygwin-apps repo under cygwin-apps, containing a copy of the repo.or.cz/chere.git repo [1]. (you should already have push rights to this as mgeisert, let me know if there are problems). * removed the cygwin-apps repo under cygwin-packages you accidentally created (it will be created again on your first push) [1] https://cygwin.com/cgit/cygwin-apps/chere/
