Thansk for testing.
Do you mean `mintty -h alw` works on self-compiled-unpatched
cygwin1.dll but does not work on self-compiled-patched cygwin1.dll?

From whare do you start mintty?
1) Windows shortcut?
2) From command prompt?
3) From another mintty window?
4) From WindowsTerminal?
