Chiheng, This is great! Thank You! I think with this and the great work Marco Atzeri did on additional Python modules (needing rust to compile) for Ansible I should now have everything I need. I will now try to use Cygwin to create a VScode setup in Cygwin with newest/relatively new Ansible core so that all the VScode Ansible plugins work correctly. This will allow me to create a fully working VScode Ansible and Jinja2 IDE in windows via Cygwin without needing any admin rights on the windows side. I will let this group know how I make out or if I run into any issues. ________________________________________ From: Cygwin <[email protected]> on behalf of Xu Chiheng via Cygwin <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 11:51 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Updated : Scripts and patches to build CMake, GCC/Cross-GCC, Clang/LLVM, and QEMU on Cygwin, MSYS2/MinGW and Visual Studio. https://github.com/xu-chiheng/Note For entertainment. -- Problem reports: https://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: https://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: https://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: https://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
