Does pkgbase provide binaries compiled for the lowest
common cpu architecture?  Will I get i686 instruction
set versus zen5 with a pkgbase libm?

At one time, FreeBSD claimed that a new installation was
a complete UNIX(-like) environment upon installation.  Yes,
one needed to configure certain features such as adding
a few lines to /etc/printcap to get a functioning printer.
