I think it's just recognizing reality if we say "only bugs, not support questions". With several thousand PRs in the backlog, we cannot realistically hope to deal with all the actual bug reports. IMHO the best that we can do is to a) try to attract developer attention to the relevant ones as they come in, and b) slowly, in the background, go over the backlog.
