After updating from commit base 7140742c8c68 to commit base be9295deedd1,
loader.efi (when kicked from boot1.efi, at least) cannot find root pool and
drop to loader prompt (not loader menu).

As commits to stand/ were limited inbetween, tried advancing commits instead of
bisecting, and turned out commit base 3e3fd1fde8e1 triggers the issue.
