While I understand what you are saying, IPv6 doesn't magically work without
configuration to make it work. If the only thing keeping a fully functioning
IPv6 stack from working is the compilation of an INET6 kernel, the
administrator took the gun out of the cabinet, loaded it, pointed it firmly at
their foot, and left their finger on the trigger while they are having hiccups.
Ticking time bomb, it is not.

Over to the jails folks. This is an interoperability issue, not a security
issue.
