Given the scarcity of actual parallel ports these days, their distance from the CPU's execution units, and the general state of timekeeping, I'm timing this bug out. Note to original submitter: If the echo pulse did not make it through the EMI filters on the parallel port, the same filters also delayed your input pulse significantly. Given the high tempco of the cheap/disposable passive components in such EMI filters, trying to calibrate the systematic delay out would probably be an total waste of your time in the first place. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
