I'm actually surprised this bug is still open.  I thought it had been closed
months ago.

In answer to your question, sorry but no I cannot test those patches.  FreeBSD
started to freeze randomly, which I now know might have been a hardware issue,
but I didn't then.  That combined with other issues, like unable to mount Samba
shares, required me to switch to Linux.  I didn't want to because there were
other features of FreeBSD that I enjoyed and wanted, like customizing my own
software repository.  Hopefully someday I can return to FreeBSD.
