Disk died, any help?

Hello,

  I have a BSD 4.8 machine acting as a NAT box, and came back to find it dead.

  checking dmesg, I find:
  ad5: hard error reading fsbn 0 (ad5 bn 0; cn 0 tn 0 sn 0) status=19 error=04
  ad5: reading primary partition table: error reading fsbn 0

  Any tricks to getting it back or is all the data toast?
