With pkg 2.5.0 you can:


pkg unregister --force --glob 'FreeBSD-*'


A careless example, after using VirtualBox to take a snapshot of a guest 
(force is not generally recommended):

root@maximal:~ # pkg unregister --force --quiet --yes --glob 'FreeBSD-*'
