timeouts on vtnet?

Is anyone else seeing timeouts on virtual interfaces? e.g.

This started happening sometime after commit 32beb3ae71cb which doesn't 
do this.

I don't have access to the VPS host but messages on the guest don't seem 
to report anything unusual (or different) ..
