fts weirdness?

Just noticed this odd behaviour ..

imb@aaron:/home/imb> ls-lhR george
total 1.5 KB
drwxr-xr-x  2 imb wheel    3B Jul  3 09:10 2026-07-03
drwxr-xr-x  2 imb wheel    3B Jul 31 08:48 2026-07-31
drwxr-xr-x  2 imb wheel    3B Aug 15 09:35 2026-08-15

george/2026-07-03:
total 3.3 GB
-rw-r--r--  1 imb wheel  3.3G Jul  3 09:33 george-dump-root.gz

george/2026-07-31:
total 3.4 GB
-rw-r--r--  1 imb wheel  3.4G Jul 31 08:59 george-dump-root.gz

george/2026-08-15:
total 2.1 GB
-rw-r--r--  1 imb wheel  2.1G Aug 15 09:42 george-dump-root-1.gz

Which is normal but adding a '/' to the path produces this ..
