Hi,

I tend to run only release kernels on non-development systems, but maybe
I could
try -stable as waiting for 13.1 might not be an option.

Here is usbconfig output (but it is from FreeBSD 12.2):
ugen0.1: <DWCOTG OTG Root HUB> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH
(480Mbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA)
ugen0.2: <vendor 0x0424 product 0x2514> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST
spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE (2mA)
ugen0.3: <vendor 0x0424 product 0x2514> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST
spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE (2mA)
ugen0.4: <vendor 0x0424 product 0x7800> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST
spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=ON (2mA)
ugen0.5: <vendor 0x1a86 USB2.0-Serial> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL
(12Mbps) pwr=ON (98mA)
ugen0.6: <HUAWEIMOBILE HUAWEIMOBILE> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH
(480Mbps) pwr=ON (2mA)

I can probably get same output with 13.0 during weekend if I visit the
site (it's 100 km away).
Unfortunately, I don't have same hardware available locally.

If I remember correctly there was no output on dmesg when modeswitch
failed, but I'll have to check
that.
