dwc0 + 18GB limit?

Hi,

I have a weird problem that when transfering large files (up-to 100G)
from an arm64 with dwc(4) to an amd64 VM the transfer always breaks
after 18GB (using rsync / ssh).

Given I do the same from amd64 to amd64 without issues I am wondering
if there is a lingering dwc(4) problem and before I start digging I
wonder if anyone has seen this before or can reproduce it?
