RPi* firmware updates normally have dtb updates, as the dtb's are effectively part of the linux kernel and are changed regularly as the update the kernel. Jumping the RPi* firmware somewhat more than 2 years (20210303 vintage -> 20230405 vintage, as coded into the release tags) has lots of changes, including in the .dtb files.
